PlanWatch.ie aggregates planning application data from local authority sources across Ireland. While we take care to present this data accurately, errors can occasionally occur. We are committed to correcting inaccuracies promptly.
How to Report an Error
If you spot incorrect data on PlanWatch.ie, you can report it directly from the page where you found the error:
- On any planning application detail page, click the "Report Error" link
- On any planning authority page, click the "Report Error" link
You can also email us at hello@planwatch.ie with details of the error.

How We Handle Reports
When you submit an error report:
- We review the report and verify the issue against the original council data source
- If the error is on our side, we correct it and publish the correction on this page
- If the error originates from the council website, we note it and update our data when the council corrects theirs
- If you provided your email, we'll follow up to let you know the outcome
